Goenka has signed this deal for the luxury project Three Sixty West located on Annie Besant Road, Worli. This penthouse is located on the 63rd, 64th, and 65th floors of Tower B.

Welspun Chief BK Goenka: One of India’s biggest real estate deals has happened in a luxury tower located in Worli, Mumbai. In fact, industrialist and chairman of the Welspun Group, BK Goenka has bought a penthouse for Rs 240 crore, which is spread over an area of 30,000 square feet. This has come to light from a report in the Times of India. The Goenkas have bought (through a group company) a triplex in the luxury project Three Sixty West on Annie Besant Road in Worli. This penthouse is located on the 63rd, 64th, and 65th floors of Tower B.
Most expensive apartment in India
Pankaj Kapur, founder, and MD of real estate rating and research firm Liases Foras said, “This is the costliest apartment sold in India so far. We expect more deals in the ultra-luxury segment in the next two months as the capital gains limit for investment under section 54 has been raised to Rs 10 crore from April 2023. Therefore, capital gains above Rs 10 crore will be automatically taxed.”
This company is making the project
The project was built by Oasis Realty, a joint venture between businessman-Sudhakar Shetty and builder Vikas Oberoi of Oberoi Realty. According to reports, Oberoi has also bought a penthouse in a wing adjacent to this tower for Rs 240 crore. Oberoi Realty has now bought the Three Sixty West project for Rs 4,000 crore.
Radhakishan Damani bought 28 luxury apartments for 1,238 crores
Recently, Radhakishan Damani, the founder of Dmart, did probably the biggest deal in the country’s property market. Damani’s family members and associates have bought 28 housing units in Mumbai for Rs 1,238 crore. The total carpet area of the properties bought by one of India’s top retailers, its associates, and companies is 1,82,084 sq ft, which includes 101 car parking. All the transactions were registered on February 3, 2023.
