Veer Savarkar name is always taken with pride in Indian history. While reading the history, it is understood that the letter for which Savarkar is called Mafiveer was actually given for the release of his fellow prisoners. He never bowed his head before the British and never apologized for himself. In a letter written to the British, he made a recommendation saying that the release of my fellow prisoners should be approved instead of me.
Veer Savarkar did his BA from Fergusson College, Pune. He studied barrister from London. From England, he got a scholarship to study law and was admitted to England’s Grays in Law College. Here he took refuge in ‘India House’. Please tell me that this was a student residence in North London. In London itself, he formed an organization Free India Society to fight against the British.
Veer Savarkar remained in Andaman Jail from 1911 to 1921. He returned home in 1921 and then served 3 years in jail.
Savarkar was the only Indian sentenced to life imprisonment twice in the same life.

The teaser of Randeep Hooda-starrer Swatantra Veer Savarkar was launched on his 140th birth anniversary. The film also marks Randeep’s debut as a director. Randeep Hooda will be seen not only acting but also handling the direction of the film.
For this film, Randeep Hooda had told that he has reduced his weight by about 18 kg. Randeep Hooda will be seen in the role of Freedom Fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in the film. This is a biopic film.
