In the coming weeks, higher-level managers are going to give instructions related to this to their subordinates. This is a separate process from the ongoing performance reviews. Individual contributors are not in charge of others and instead focus on tasks such as coding, designing, and researching.
Meta has laid off 13 percent of its employees
Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, laid off 13 percent of its employees in November during its first layoff. Sources said there has been a lot of concern about possible staff retrenchment in the months that followed.
