Byju IPO Size may be 4500 crores, Big success for Byju ahead of IPO

Education technology platform BYJU has raised a fund of $ 800 million i.e. about Rs 6000 crore before bringing the IPO. In this round, the company’s founder and CEO Byju Raveendran himself has put in $ 400 million or about Rs 3000 crore. The valuation of the company has been put at $ 22 billion for this fundraising. BYJU is preparing to be listed in the stock market. After this funding, Byju’s has now become India’s highest-valued startup. Apart from Byju Ravindran, Capital Raising includes Vitruvian Partners and BlackRock, who have invested.
The stake in the company with Ravindran and his family has increased from 25 percent to 30 percent. According to the statement issued by the company’s CEO Ravindran, the growth of this platform in the national and international markets will be great in the coming days. We are firm about our goal. We aim to give a better experience to our learners. We are working towards building a platform that will be remembered for decades.
Earlier in October 2021, the company had a fundraising of $ 300 million. Byju’s was valued at $18 billion at that time. During the Corona period, Byju has so far raised a fund of $ 2 billion i.e. about 15 thousand crore rupees. With most of the money, the company has bought small education technology companies.
