Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given information by tweeting. PM Modi tweeted said I am very happy to inform you that Shri Lal Krishna Advani ji will be honored with Bharat Ratna.

Let us tell you that former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani was one of the prominent faces of the Ram Mandir movement. The credit for giving impetus to the movement goes to him. In such a situation, this decision of the Modi government is being seen as a gift to the movement.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on his social media handle X that Shri LK Advani will be honored with Bharat Ratna. He said, “I myself talked to him and congratulated him. His contribution to the development of India is valuable. He served the country by working on the ground and became the Deputy Prime Minister of the country. He also served the country as Home Minister and Information Broadcasting Minister. Giving him Bharat Ratna is a very emotional moment. I consider myself fortunate that I got the opportunity to work under him. I learned a lot from him.”

Let us tell you that Lal Krishna Advani is the only leader of the BJP who has taken command of the party thrice. He worked a lot for the BJP since the formation of the party. He took out Ram Rath Yatra from Somnath to Ayodhya in 1990. The Rath Yatra of 1990 had taken the popularity of Lal Krishna Advani to its peak.
Deputy Prime Minister in Atal’s government
He reached the Lok Sabha for the first time in 1989. After this, he was Lok Sabha MP from Gandhinagar seat of Gujarat in 1991, 1998, 1999, 2004 and 2009, 2014. From 2002 to 2005, he held the responsibility of Deputy Prime Minister in Atal’s government.
