BAFTA 2023 complete winners list: German anti-war film ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ on Sunday won 7 awards including Best Film at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA). Irish tragicomedy ‘The Banshees of Inishrin’ and ‘Rock biopic Elvis’ got 4-4 awards. Edward Berger won the best director award for ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’. While Austin Butler Elvis became the best actor. Cate Blanchett won best actress for the orchestral drama “Taar”. Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees was named Best British Film.

Three-time Oscar winner Sandy Powell became the first costume designer to be awarded a BAFTA fellowship.

On the other hand, India has been disappointed in BAFTA, RRR whose song ‘Natu Natu’ won the Golden Globe Award and got a nomination for an Oscar, but that film did not even get the nomination in BAFTA. In such a situation, the Indian fans are very angry and people say that the British do not want to show their negative image, so this film has not got the nomination.
