Event & Host Background
After the original host, the Australian state of Victoria, withdrew its 2026 hosting commitment, Glasgow stepped in to host the Games, scheduled to run from 23 July to 2 August 2026.

Ticketing Plans: Phases & Priority Access

Phase 1 – Glasgow area: Residents with a “G” post-code in Glasgow region who registered will get exclusive access from 12:00 noon on Tuesday 21 October.

Phase 2 – Scotland-wide: From 12:00 noon on Friday 24 October, priority access opens to all Scottish postcodes.

Phase 3 – UK & International: From 12:00 noon on Monday 27 October (until noon 29 October) for all pre-registered fans from UK and overseas.

General Public Sale: From 12:00 noon on Thursday 30 October the ticket sale opens fully to the public.
It is emphasised that approximately 500,000 tickets will be made available in this initial sale phase.
